Look Up

Such a great passage to remind me where the focus of my life should be:

"Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.  For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.  When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory."  Colossians 3:1-4

It is so easy to get distracted by life in all of its consuming busyness, by the difficulties, and even by the good things that we sometimes pursue instead of the Perfect One who gives us everything. But we must keep redirecting our attention above, to our Lord Jesus.  He died for us so that He could now be our LIFE. I'm praying that the hope of seeing Him face to face will drive my life moment to moment down here.
